One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Two summers ago, my daughter, who was 11 at the time, and I traveled around Europe for a month with just one train pass. It was an amazing experience for us. We started from Istanbul and went to Sofia, then continued through the Balkans, Zagreb, Slovenia, and Italy before reaching Paris. After that, we visited Switzerland, Vienna, and Budapest. Finally, we went to the castles in Romania — something my daughter had been very curious about — and finished our trip by returning to Istanbul from Bucharest.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love cooking and trying new recipes — my Instagram is actually full of them! I enjoy both teaching and learning in the kitchen. Since I’m a primary school teacher, I also love spending time and playing with kids. I’m a certified children’s yoga instructor as well, and I really enjoy doing yoga with them.
My English isn’t perfect yet, so practicing with people would be wonderful for me. I’d also love to explore your city together if you have time — it’s always nicer to discover new places while having good conversations.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I enjoy making friends with people from different cultures — I’ve already had that experience while staying in various Airbnb homes. I also use another platform where I take care of pets while the owners are away, which allows me to travel and stay for free.
Since I’m a teacher, I usually travel during school holidays. Sometimes, when I find a nice house sit, there isn’t another one nearby in the same area. That’s why I’d love to use Couchsurfing — to meet local people, share good moments, and make my travels even more meaningful.
