About Me
Hello to all couchsurfers! My name is Jérémy and I come from Lorient, located in Brittany in France. This city is well known for its huge interceltic festival which is an ideal place to meet international people 🌍🎼. Before I was 17 I had never traveled and with school I had the opportunity to go to Mexico for two weeks in 2018. It was a beautiful surprise and I found a new passion for exploration and travel. For me, travel is above all meetings and discussions. I am curious about everything, I love learning about the history of countries, about anecdotes or about a friend I meet during my travels. I think the trip opened my eyes to the richness of the world and different peoples. I love hiking and bivouac, I try to travel while respecting ecology and ethics as much as possible, which is not always easy 💚🏕️🚲🚂. For the tour of Europe I favor soft transport such as the train or hitchhiking 🇪🇺. I hope that I will have the pleasure of meeting you and chatting over an activity, a beer or during a walk in the city or in nature. See you soon ☺️😀
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
II love traveling and meeting new and interesting people so a friend of mine told me about this app and I immediately loved the idea. Iam on this application to find a place to sleep and especially to discover the city with a local. I think that's the main strength of this application.
Interests
I am very open-minded and for me couchsurfing is above all a possibility of meeting friends and discovering with the locals the splendid places I visit. So I want to learn about you and all things you like to do.
I wrote down a few so that you could have an idea of what I like doing but what I mostly like is having nice conversations with people and learning new stuff no matter what it is(as long as the person talking is passionate about what is being talked about).

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to all kinds of music. I have a preference for jazz, indie or French rap. It will be with pleasure that we can share our musical favorites and discover your playlist. For books I love novels, adventure stories, books about travel and scientific drawings of plants. I love art and I am a big lover of museums. I try to visit at least one or two museums per city. If I have to recommend a book to you, go read “Tout le bleu du ciel” by Mélissa Da Costa” and listen to the music “Tôt le matin” by Gaël Faye. ☺️
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The most beautiful adventure I experienced was the 4-day Moto roadtrip in Vietnam in the Ha Giang loop. I was alone on my motorbike and I met an Australian friend and the two of us drove for several days stopping at guesthouses. We sang karaoke and drank and ate like the locals. It was incredible.
