My name is Max and my motto is:
Plan less, see more!

So far, that attitude has carried me around a lot of countries and offered me amazing moments. After finishing high school in 2023, I started travelling and ended up doing two gap years. I've travelled all over europe and asia, met the most incredible people, been to amazing places and had the best time possible.

Now I'll start the next chapter at university, but it won't be my last trip and I'm eager to host as well!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I started using Couchsurfing when I was on an Interrail tour with a friend in 2023 and we wanted to try it. And since it worked, I continued and became a host as well.

I want to experience the country, culture and food through the people who actually live there. I want to discover the authentic life and not only the touristic version. There is a great saying: "The people you meet create the paradise you find."

I mostly listen to rock music and I can show you some good german music too. I'm happy to get music recommendations in your language. I collect music in my travel playlist.

As a travel related documentary, I have to highly recommend "Hitchhiking Around The Globe" by Jojo Aigner.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Being able to travel the world at a young age and meet so many amazing people while doing incredible things like skydiving, hitchhiking, trekking in the Himalaya and dancing with locals in a park in Bangkok.
And it's just the beginning :)
