We are Lara (26, F) and Adrian (27, M), 👩🏼‍🤝‍👨🏻 and we are from Spain.
Since two years ago, we have been living in Copenhague, Denmark.
Here, I work as a photographer 📸 for a company that makes giant wood troll sculptures, and my partner Adri works as a craft brewer 🍻

We are quiet people who enjoy life in the small details of everyday activities. A nice walk in a park, cooking at home while inviting friends, or caring for our plants bring us happiness ☀️🍽️🌱

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We have decided to try Couchsurfing after several friends' recommendations.
We look forward to meeting open-minded people from all over the world, sharing life experiences, and discovering other cultures 🌎🌍🌏

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy all types of Latin music (reggaeton, cumbia, Latin pop...) and other styles such as indie, pop, jazz or lo-fi. I like watching series more than movies, but I really like anime films like Studio Ghibli. I also like art-related or self-care books. I love practising yoga 🧘🏼‍♀️ and doing all sorts of manual crafts like ceramics or woodwork.

On the other hand, Adri likes pop, electronic and indie music; he enjoys historical, fantasy and action movies, and he thrills reading history books and keeping up to date with world newspapers. He also enjoys gaming (computer 👾 and board games ♟️) and watching sports. ⚽🏎️🎾

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

As part of a photography internship, I took pictures of an off-road motorbike competition in the Morrocan desert. This implied sleeping in a tent for two weeks with minimal comfort and freezing nights! 🌠🏜️

Adri used to work as a taxi driver in his home town Madrid, while he was at university. He has many stories and adventures, but you need to share a beer (or two 🍻😜) with him to tell you about it 🚕

Teach, Learn, Share

I can go with you on a nice bike ride along Copenhagen canals, searching for beautiful spots. We can also go to a cosy bakery for a nice drink ☕ and some Danish "hygge" while we get to know each other 💬. I also like to go to flea markets 👚🔄, as I am passionate about sustainability and second usage. I always enjoy a visit to a museum or exhibition 🎨

Meanwhile, Adri can teach you how to make great beer 🍺, but he would also love to share a board games evening or have a nice walk 👣through Copenhagen while talking about history, culture, science or any topic of world current affairs 🗺️. He really likes roaming in a beautiful park while getting lost in a conversation 🏞️

Our home in Copenhagen is in the Valby neighbourhood, about 10 minutes by biking 🚲 or by public transport from the city's central 🚂 station. We would offer our guests our sofa bed (plus pillows and blankets) in our living room, so we expect cleanliness and tidiness in this shared space 😊

We expect our guests to be willing to share some time with us, maybe a meal together to get to know each other or a nice walk in the park close by with some drinks 🙌🏻

First and foremost, you can expect the utmost respect for your space from us 😊

When we visit a new place, we love to know how people live there.
That's why we would like to share some time with our host: a walk through your favourite place in the city or a nice homemade meal while getting to know each other in a good conversation 💬🤗
