Overview
About Me
Black woman from the outskirts, proudly local and deeply in love with my state and city — Olinda, Pernambuco, Brazil. 🫶🏾 Youngest daughter of Seu Francisco and Dona Gilvanise. I’m super close to my family, but I also have a bit of a wanderer’s soul. I’m a journalist, entrepreneur, and activist for Black and feminist causes. I love popular culture, parties, the beach and the forest, traveling, having a beer or a good glass of wine. Telling stories is my biggest passion — and reading others too. I guess that’s why I love connecting with people. And maybe that’s also why I’m here.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet new people, languages, and cultures — and to share mine too. I’m traveling through South America, and I truly believe that what makes a journey real is the exchange.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Make a documentary. Start a business. Throw on a backpack and go explore the world.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can share what I know about Portuguese language and communication on social media. Photography, cinema, and spirituality too.
I love sharing the culture and special places of Olinda. I can also talk a bit about Brazilian history, politics, and Black identity.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Long talks and lots of laughter for sure. Showing some cool spots around the city, cooking a good meal, and sharing the local culture.
