Overview
About Me
Hi, I'm Damian, an adventurous digital nomad originally from Poland. I’m pursuing a degree in International Business, and when I’m not working or studying, you’ll find me exploring new cultures, hiking outdoors, or helping on projects that inspire me. I’ve been working in financial crime prevention for over two years and love problem-solving, but I balance that with creativity, like tutoring English. My favorite thing about traveling is connecting with new people, exchanging stories, and learning from different perspectives. I grew up helping in my aunt's restaurant, so I’m handy in the kitchen and know how to be a respectful and helpful guest. I also bring a positive attitude, and I’m always happy to lend a hand around the house.
Looking forward to meeting open-minded, fun people and sharing meaningful experiences wherever I go! 😊
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I joined Couchsurfing to connect with like-minded people and experience the world in a more personal way. For me, traveling isn’t just about sightseeing. It’s about immersing myself in local cultures, sharing stories, and creating authentic connections.I love meeting people from different backgrounds, exchanging ideas, and learning new perspectives. Hosting and being hosted allows me to step out of my comfort zone and engage in experiences that go beyond typical travel. As a digital nomad and someone passionate about meaningful conversations, I see Couchsurfing as the perfect way to make new friends and leave a positive impact wherever I go.

Music, Movies, and Books
I enjoy listening to American rap, with artists like Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole, and Travis Scott frequently on my playlist. However, I'm open to discover new genres!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I participated in an Erasmus project focused on encouraging young people to stay in rural areas and nurture the land. It was an eye-opening experience that allowed me to connect with people from different backgrounds, exchange ideas, and contribute to a cause I care about. Being part of such a initiative taught me the value of community, sustainability, and the impact we can have when we work together.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can help you improve your English, as I’m a language tutor in my spare time. I’m always eager to learn more about different cultures, cuisines, and ways of life. I’d love to improve my French, so if you speak it, I’d appreciate some practice! I’m also keen on learning about local traditions and discovering hidden gems in your area.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I’m always ready to lend a hand around the house, help with chores, or just have a friendly conversation. I believe in making sure both hosts and guests feel comfortable, respected, and at home.
