About Me
Hi!! I’m Adrián, a biologist. I hadn’t traveled much until after finishing my master’s in biodiversity conservation. I went to France to volunteer with the European Roller in the Alpilles Natural Park, and that experience really sparked my love for travel. After some time working in environmental consulting, I decided to take the chance to explore Australia while volunteering in the Grey Fan study around Geelong.
I’m having a blast discovering new places and meeting new people!

Music, Movies, and Books
love music, especially rock, ska, and hip hop. I listen to music from all over, but my weakness is bands from my home region, Galicia, who sing in my native language, Galician (Dakidarria, Son da Rua, Ses, Ruxe Ruxe, Heredeiros da Crus…).
I enjoy movies in general, except for horror. If I had to choose just one movie to watch for the rest of my life, it would undoubtedly be Treasure Planet.
I’ve always loved reading: Pio Baroja, Dickens, Auster, Camus, Neira, Castelao, Murakami… But the writer who has influenced me the most since I was 14 is without a doubt Hermann Hesse.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Master of the Spanish tortilla, officially approved by the contest judges 😉. In general, I love cooking and sharing recipes from my region with my friends, while also learning new ones from them. I consider myself a pretty friendly and fun person, and I usually get good reviews for the movies I make myself 😂.
