Hello !
We are Gautier and Ludovic, two french friends hitchhiking across northern Italy for the next 10 days. We are 24, grew up in Paris and started our trip in Lyon, south of France. We are looking forward to meeting people during our holidays, and go hiking around the lakes and the Dolomites.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Last year we went on a 2 month-trip in Romania with our third friend Soizic. We had such Nice experience with people in Hungary, Romania, Croatia and Serbia. We met amazing people, that tought us a lot about their country (exactly what we are looking for). Hope we will do it again !

Interests

As typical frenchy, we love cooking: quiches, cakes and discover foreign specialties and dishes. We can't wait to taste your favorite meals / cook our favorite cake for you !

We are huge fan of hiking and we try to mix it with some hitchhiking this time.
We spend week-ends in the french Alpes, Pyrénées, Massif Central hiking and camping with our friends and family. Happy to share our best experience with you!
I also travel by bike, usually for long trips, up to 12 days. My favorite part is the climbing and you ?

Music, Movies, and Books

We have our favorite writters : Romain Gary, Joseph Kessel, Saint Exupéry and Hermann Hesse for the foreigners. I am reading Gabriel Garcia Marquez right now. For musics, we like reggae, rock from the 80's and commercial songs as well as a bien lf french rap.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

During our trip last year, we arrived late near Belgrade, Serbia. Nikola invited us on couchsurfing that night. And after a few rakia (serbian liquor), he taught us how to cook beans, his specialty until 3:30 in the morning !
