About Me
Hey, I'm Lise, and I call Bodø my home – it's this little gem in northern Norway.
I really enjoy painting and being creative in different ways. Before, I worked as an interior designer, where I got to use my creativity to design spaces. Being creative is something that helps me relax and unwind.
Now, board games are a whole different kind of adventure. Getting together with friends, huddling around a game, laughing and competing – it's a great way to bond!
Museums, particularly ones featuring castles, are my favorite! It's like walking through the pages of a storybook, and it fuels my fascination with the past.
Just like most Norwegians, I absolutely love being outdoors in nature. Whether I'm skiing through the snow or hiking in the mountains, that's when I feel most at home. I grew up with the sea and mountains, and being away from them for too long feels like missing a part of myself.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I choose couchsurfing because it's not just a place to crash – it's a way to have cool adventures and make new friends. Instead of staying in boring hotels, I get to hang out with locals and experience a place like they do.
I like learning about different cultures, and couchsurfing lets me do that by living with people who actually live there. They show me the best spots to eat, take me to cool places, and we have awesome chats that teach me things I'd never find in a guidebook.
But it's not just about travel; it's also about making friends from all over. These friendships often stick around long after the trip is over. Plus, couchsurfing is kinder to the planet because fewer resources are being used, which I'm all for.
Interests
I love being outdoors when the weather is nice. It can be hiking in the mountains or just sitting out in the midnight sun. I also like connecting over a good movie or having boardgame nights with friends.

Teach, Learn, Share
I am not the best cook, so I am always up to learning new dishes.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm happy to lend a hand with cleaning and organizing, ensuring that our environment is both welcoming and cozy. Whether it's tidying up rooms or tackling some chores, I'm here to make sure everything's spick and span.
Food is another way to bring people together, and I enjoy making food with friends. Whether it's a breakfast to kick off the day, a homemade dinner to wind down, or even a spontaneous treat in between, I'm up for it.
I can also show you my favorite movies or if you're up for some fresh air, we could head out and exploring the nearby area and enjoying each other's company. And if you're into unique finds, we could hit up some second-hand shops and maybe uncover some hidden treasures together.
