About Me

Hi! I’m José, a Brazilian traveler from Londrina with a background in IT Support and Customer Experience. I’m passionate about cultural exchange, meaningful conversations, and personal growth.

I speak Portuguese (native), English (advanced), and Spanish, and I love connecting with people from different backgrounds. Traveling for me is not just about visiting places — it’s about understanding how people live, think, and see the world.

I consider myself respectful, organized, adaptable, and easy to communicate with. I value good energy, honesty, and mutual respect.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m not here just for a place to sleep. I’m here for real cultural exchange.

I believe the best way to experience a country is through its people. I would love to learn about Swiss culture, daily life, local traditions, and hidden gems that only locals know.

I’m also happy to share Brazilian culture, cook a traditional meal, practice languages, or exchange travel stories.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the most transformative experiences in my life was doing an exchange program at a Hochschule in Mexico and later working on a cruise ship.

Living in Mexico challenged me to adapt to a new culture, language, and academic environment. It taught me independence and how to truly connect with people from different backgrounds.

Working on a cruise ship was another life-changing experience. I lived and worked with people from all over the world, learned discipline, resilience, and how to handle high-pressure environments while maintaining a positive attitude.

Both experiences shaped the way I see the world — with curiosity, adaptability, and respect for different cultures.
