About Me
Hello I am ibra from Turkey I live in Bulgaria .My biggest passion is traveling !! I graduated from the sports field and met children with some projects abroad for 2 years. I am now doing a job I love in Sofia. I hope I would love to meet people who have a passion for traveling, there are not many of them around me :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Traveling is not just a hobby for me—it’s a way of life. Every country I visit is a new opportunity to connect with locals, learn about their culture firsthand, and experience the world through different perspectives. I believe the best way to truly understand a place is by listening to the stories of the people who call it home. These conversations make me feel like learning is truly endless, and that’s something I deeply value.
I love meeting like-minded people who are open, curious, and passionate about sharing their lives and experiences. Couchsurfing feels like the perfect platform for meaningful cultural exchange, new friendships, and unforgettable memories.
Besides travel, I have a strong interest in sports. I follow almost every major sport in Europe and love the energy of live sports events. If I happen to be in a city during a match or competition, I never miss the chance to experience it in person—it’s such a unique way to feel the local spirit!
I’m looking forward to sharing stories, laughs, and good times with people from around the world. ✈️ 🧭
Interests
I’m a curious person, and I enjoy exploring different worlds through books, films, and sports.
When it comes to movies, I love a wide variety—from inspiring dramas to documentaries and comedies. I especially enjoy films that reflect different cultures, human stories, or make you think in a new way. Cinema is such a powerful way to connect with emotions and ideas from all over the world.
Books are a big part of my life. I’m a huge fan of Harry Potter—those stories have a special place in my heart and remind me of the magic of imagination. In general, I’m especially drawn to science fiction books. I love how they challenge the limits of reality and explore big questions about the future, technology, and humanity. There’s something fascinating about the way sci-fi blends creativity with deep thought.
As for sports, I follow almost every popular European sport, especially football, basketball, and voleyball. I really enjoy the energy of live matches, the strategy behind each game, and the passion of the fans. It’s also a great way to connect with locals when I travel.
In short, I love stories—whether they’re told through books, films, or the drama of a close sports match. And I’m always excited to share and discover new interests with others 🌎🗺️

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I once traveled across an entire country in just 8 hours and returned to my home country on the same day. It was a spontaneous adventure, full of excitement, new sights, and a real sense of freedom. That experience reminded me how much can happen in just one day if you’re open to exploring the world with curiosity and energy.⚡️
Teach, Learn, Share
I enjoy sharing my experiences and knowledge about sports, which is also my field of study. I’m especially passionate about football, basketball, and volleyball. If you’re into sports too, we could talk for hours—maybe even until the morning! I love exchanging ideas, learning new perspectives, and having fun conversations about games, players, strategies, and everything in between.🏀
What I Can Share with Hosts
I believe every Couchsurfing experience is a two-way exchange, and I’m always happy to give as much as I receive. I can share stories from my travels, interesting cultural insights from my country, and lots of positive energy. I love good conversations—whether it’s about life, travel, sports, or random little things that make us laugh.
If you’re interested in sports, I can share some fun facts, stories, or even watch a game together. I also enjoy cooking simple dishes from my culture and would be happy to prepare a meal or help out in the kitchen.
Most importantly, I always bring respect, gratitude, and an open mind. I try to be a thoughtful guest who contributes to a warm and easygoing atmosphere. And of course, I’ll bring a smile and hopefully leave a good memory behind. 🍽️
