Hello! I'm Samira and 25 years old. I'm as well an outdoorsy person (hiking, biking) as a fan of indoor activities, like going to the theatre (preferrably improv at the moment), playing board games, or getting to know each other during humourous or deep discussions. I am generally very curious about how other people create their lives, which values lead their choices, and which activities they like to share with others. I am on couch surf because I will soon be an English teacher in Switzerland and looking forward to sharing with my students some unique, personal experiences in English-speaking countries, in order for language-learning to be closer to cultural and interpersonal discoveries than to grammar-driven schoolbooks.

This is the first time I am travelling with couch surfing! If it happens to be a good experience, I could totally imagine hosting future travellers at my place in Zurich when my trip is finished (I'll be back at the latest by February 2024).
