About Me

Hi,

my name is Laura, I’m 30 years old and originally from Germany.

I’m a quiet, respectful, and easygoing person who truly enjoys connecting with locals and learning about their everyday lifestyle. For me, traveling is not about ticking off sights or partying, but about experiencing places through the people who live there.

I prefer staying with locals rather than in hotels or hostels, as it feels much more personal and meaningful. I’ve already had wonderful experiences living with local hosts in India and Sri Lanka, which I really appreciated and learned a lot from.

I’m not a party person at all — I value calm environments, good conversations, and a relaxed atmosphere. I’m quite reserved, independent, and considerate of personal space. A quiet sleeping place is very important to me, and I always respect house rules and routines.

Also, I love animals (especially cats) and I’m a vegetarian.

This is the first time using Couchsurfing. Until now, I only used Airbnb to stay with locals. As I don’t have reviews yet I’d love to share my Airbnb reviews to show that I’m a respectful and friendly guest.

I’d love to share experiences, talk about culture and daily life, or simply enjoy a peaceful time together. Thank you for reading, and I’d be happy to meet you.

Warm regards,

Laura
