Hello! My name is Khoa, and I am a young and open-minded backpacker from Germany with Vietnamese roots. Having completed my master's degree in chemistry last year, I decided to travel the world for a bit before entering the workforce.

I've been backpacking for over 7 months, and it has undoubtedly been one of the best decisions I've made in my life!

The next stop on my journey is Japan! I am absolutely hyped about Japan and I am looking forward to meet local Japanese people. :)

Beyond simply exploring new destinations, I consider meeting and connecting with new people to be the most enriching aspect of backpacking. Some of my most cherished memories from my backpacking journey involve hanging out with locals, whether it's sharing meals, bouldering together, partying, taking late-night walks, or engaging in deep conversations about life. It's these experiences that have left a lasting impression on me. That's why I'm drawn to Couchsurfing: to foster genuine connections with new people, especially locals, and make unforgettable moments.

I love movies with a good story.
Some of them are: The pursuit of happiness, Interstellar, Parasite, Fight Club, The Dark Knight, Kimi no wa, Lord of the Rings trilogy.

My music taste is quite diverse.
From J-Rock like OneOkRock /Lisa, to R&B/Soul like Khalid, Justin Bieber and theWeeknd and meanwhile a little bit V-Pop aswell.

I mostly read non-fiction books.
Some of them are:
Atomic Habits, the subtle art of not giving a fuck, 4 hour work week.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I've had countless incredible experiences while backpacking through Southeast Asia, but one that truly stands out is driving the motorscooter through the breathtaking landscapes of northern Vietnam. Apart from that, I found immense joy in watching sunsets painting the skies over the beach each evening. These moments of natural beauty are what make my travels truly unforgettable.

In terms of languages I can teach you the basics of german and english. Since I have a masters degree in chemistry, I can also teach you some science and mathematics if you're really interested :P.

Other than that, I am a very curious person, so I would love to learn more about you as a person, how you grew up, how you became the person you are right now and many more questions :)
