Hello! My name is Sofia I’m originally from Spain but I left my home town Barcelona, almost 9 years ago now, I lived in Ibiza, Tenerife, Edinburg, Utrecht and traveling long term in India, Thailand and Vietnam now.

I’m currently backpacking Asia with the intention of staying and working for some time.
But for now, I’m traveling first and fulfilling my childhood dream to travel to Japan!

For the rest I’m a very open minded person who loves exchanging thoughts, language, cooking, eating and connect with people.

Would love to experience the country as a local with locals as I’m no normal tourist, where I go I can’t bother much about tourist attractions, I’m all about food, people, experiences, conversations, nature and sacred places like temples.

I’m very curious which means my taste is SO WIDE. I can’t pick favourites, I love studio Ghibli, I love horror movies (yes! Asian too) and I like some psychological thriller from time to time, like Shutter Island for example.

Music, the same I love a good techno and hardcore party but I have same fun in a rock or indie concert.

A part from traveling solo to many countries in Asia, from where I have many amazing experiences with locals, to get my open water certification some years ago now in Koh Lanta, is still high on my list of most amazing things I’ve ever done.
