👋Hello! My name is Joaquín but I like to be called Joaco :) I am 23 years old and live in Buenos Aires, Argentina 🇦🇷

I dedicate a good part of my life to the fight against the climate and ecological crisis 🌎 in an environmental organization in my country (Jóvenes por el Clima if you want to look it up).

I love everything related to audiovisual and artistic fields. I have had the opportunity to produce and participate in the production of several short films. Last year, I graduated from the film career, and this year, I am dedicating a large part of my time to my work, where I am in charge of communication for one of the most important environmental organizations in my country.

I really enjoy spending time with my friends and meeting new people. I have had the opportunity to host people in my home with my family a couple of times, and this time I am embarking on the adventure of staying with a local outside of my country 🥲

I warn you that my English leaves much to be desired (although I am making an effort by taking English classes before the trip, haha).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm here because soon I will embark on my first trip to Europe, where my final destination will be Paris🇫🇷. I'm looking forward to meeting people who live there and sharing experiences, conversations, and cultural differences.

🎞️As a film graduate, I have to say I might like some weird movies, but overall, I feel I'm pretty average. Some of my favorite movies include: After Hours, Rear Window, Amélie, Monsters Inc, Poor Things, Missing, Fantastic Mr. Fox, The Fabulous Destiny of Amélie Poulain, Whiplash, Parasite, Wall-e, The Founder, The Grand Budapest Hotel, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 2022, I traveled to the COP27 (Conference of the Parties of the United Nations) in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt.
