About Me

I'm not looking for anything romantic or sexual.

Hi I'm Gaja, I'm budget traveling right now all around I'm 19, originally from a small village near Warsaw, but I went to school, lived and worked in Warsaw, so I know it really well. I want to try all sorts of things and meet different people - learn to unlearn (my friend from Slovenia came up with this quote credits to him lol).

Why did I start traveling? I didn't want to live my life unconsciously just following the mainstream. I want to discover life and humans on my own. Nothing has taught me as much as simply talking to people. People are the most fascinating part of life for me.

I don't smoke or drink, I also don't eat meat.
Someone told me that I should mention it- I hitchhike a lot and camp from time to time.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing has given me some of my most memorable memories. It's amazing how you can connect with people around the globe with it and become friends with people that otherwise you might not have talked to in real life. I believe people thrive when they connect and share with each other. I want to host, but i travel full-time and I don't have my own place. I hope I'll be able to do so it in the future.

Interests

Art, music, instruments, singing, trying new things, languages, martial arts, dancing, philosophy, manual works, calisthenics, history, medicine, physics, space

Music, Movies, and Books

anime, kpop, I like most songs that have depth or good rhythm, I often watch history videos, I like movies or series like black mirror, Sci fi, fantasy,

Music- I like a lot of Japanese music, big fan of Kaneko Ayano and Ado, also other ones like Karol Gott, Stray Kids, afro beat, classical music, Balkan party hits, Die Prinzen, Connor Price, Quebonafide, tha Supreme, Dominik Grey, Albanian disco

Movies - anime, Sci fi, fantasy, movies that have value either artistically, meritorically or historically, for example the ones that expand your perspective, make you inspired or leave you deep in thought after it finishes. I'd love to watch a classic from your country. I don't really like horrors or sitcoms. Comedies are fine as long as there is something unique to it, second layer. Movies/series I like: Black Mirror, Spirited Away, Your Name, Idiocracy, the Matrix, Dekalog, honestly I dont know so many but I'm always up for a movie night:D

Books- I used to be obsessed with fantasy series like Eragon, the Witcher, I prefer to watch Movies about scientific things than to read books about it, because I lose focus quite quickly. Autobiographies, studies, also educative things

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Galloping full speed in some Polish mountains is a beautiful memory i have, almost every day on this journey something crazy happens, ask me about it. I have known some really crazy and amazing people in my life, that's one thing I'm super grateful for

Teach, Learn, Share

I speak basics of some Slavic languages, I understand Spanish well but I don't practice it much. I also learned quite good Japanese when I was younger. My goal is to learn every language really, so if you'd like to teach me yours or just talk about linguistics I would really appreciate it! Just be aware that once you ask me to talk about something I like, I might not shut up for a long time and go into unnecessary details. Bear with me 😅 I love dancing. I know a few kpop choreographies. I like to climb trees and rocks, unexpected adventures, exploring (places, people, knowledge, skills, music, movies, perspectives etc). I prioritise health so all sorts of exercises and movement are welcome! I've taught a few people how to play the grass and make funny sounds with your fingers.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm open to do and try (almost) everything! And I can help you clean, cook, take care of your pets, children, anything. I love to cook Polish (or not) food. Im also enthusiastic about baking (no sugar though, I prefer healthy food). I can play the guitar if you have one. I love karaoke! We can do something crazy too :D
I love pets, had cats my whole life even 12 at one point, I only had one dog but i would like to have one in the future. Talk to me in person to find out more about me, hope to see you soon! 🙃
