Hey there! I'm Dylan a 35-year-old architect hailing from the beautiful city of Newcastle, Australia. When I'm not designing buildings, you can find me exploring the world with my lovely wife, Hasnae (from Barcelona, Spain).

I have a deep passion for travel and experiencing new cultures. I thrive on immersing myself in the local vibe and discovering hidden gems off the beaten path.

Back home, I'm the proud cat dad of two adorable furballs, Jonah and Lou. They may not be the best travel companions, but they sure know how to keep us entertained.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Im on Couchsurfing because my wife introduced me to this 4 years ago when we started travelling together and hosting people in our own home. We have loved connecting with people from all walks of life and sharing unique experiences. I thought maybe it’s time I get my own profile also. 🤣

Couchsurfing has allowed us to immerse ourselves in different cultures, learn from others, and build meaningful connections that transcend borders.

I love all types of music, and my taste is very diverse, whether it be Latin music, reggaeton, flamenco, bachata or the other side of the spectrum heavy music; punk, metal and hardcore you’ll find me dancing and singing along.

I also played guitar and sung in bands for many years as a younger adult touring around the country.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have done many amazing things in my life, but the one I am most proud of is getting registered as an architect and recently starting my own company, which allows me to work with amazing clients, do what I love, and travel the world at the same time. I feel very grateful everyday for this.

I have many skills, and lots of varied interests, I love learning and discovering new cultures, cooking, and making things. I also love sharing my skills with others and teaching them.
