I am an Assistant Professor at the Department of History, St. Anthony's College, Shillong, India and I am also simultaneously pursuing my Ph.D. at the North-Eastern Hill University.

I love travelling to different places and have visited Kazakhstan, Russia, Germany, Czech Republic, Austria, Slovakia and Hungary.

I am an easy-going, neat, hygienic, amiable person. I enjoy cooking and getting to know new people and their culture. I also love to get others acquainted with my cultural roots.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love exploring new places, people and cultures. This platform seems to be a perfect place to help me experience the same.

Also I will be travelling to Italy this June 2024 to present a paper at the University of Florence and thus, need a place to crash from June 10th to 14th, 2024. I enjoy cooking and would love to share the quintessential elements of my cultural cuisine.
