Hi! I’m a master’s student in Materials Engineering at RWTH Aachen University, I originally come from Bangalore, India, and moved to Germany for my studies. I am currently in Aachen, Germany
Chasing my goal of running at least 10 half marathons this year.

I enjoy traveling, running, and meeting people from different cultures. Recently I’ve been getting more into running events, which is actually one of the reasons I travel sometimes. I like exploring cities in a simple way walking around, trying local food, and hearing stories from people who live there.

In my daily life I spend a lot of time studying and working on technical projects, but outside of that I enjoy music, creative ideas, and good conversations about life, science, and different perspectives.

As a guest, I’m respectful, clean, and easygoing. I appreciate people opening their homes to travelers, so I always try to be considerate of house rules and help out where I can. I’m also happy to cook an Indian meal, or just have a relaxed conversation over coffee.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I joined Couchsurfing because I believe traveling is much more meaningful when you connect with people rather than just visiting places. Staying with locals gives you a perspective of a city that you could never get from hotels or guidebooks.

As a student living in Germany, I also enjoy exploring new cities whenever I get the chance. Sometimes I travel for events, like running races, and sometimes simply to experience a new place, culture, and conversations with people from different backgrounds.

For me, Couchsurfing is not just about finding a place to stay. It’s about sharing stories, learning about different ways of life, and building connections across cultures. I enjoy meeting open-minded people, exchanging ideas, and hearing about others’ experiences.
