Overview
About Me
Damaris from Kenya 🇰🇪
I currently live in Nairobi, just 2 minutes from Bob's Garden — a peaceful green space that perfectly reflects my love for nature and outdoor life.
I’m deeply in love with nature — forests, fresh air, quiet trails, sunrise views, and long nature walks make me feel alive. If there’s a hike, a farm visit, or a countryside escape, I’m already interested 😊 I enjoy exploring natural spaces and discovering hidden gems away from busy city life.
I have a background in agriculture, and I’m genuinely passionate about it. I’m always curious to learn how different countries grow food, practice sustainable farming, and connect with the land. For me, agriculture is more than work — it’s culture, community, and the foundation of life.
Traveling excites me because it allows me to experience different perspectives, traditions, and ways of living. I value meaningful conversations, cultural exchange, and simple shared moments — like cooking together, walking through a forest, or learning something new from each other.
I’m respectful, open-minded, clean, and easy to get along with. I appreciate kindness, good energy, and genuine connections.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’m on Couchsurfing because I believe travel is about people, not just places. I want to experience cultures through real human connection — sharing meals, stories, walks, and everyday life.
For me, it’s not about a free place to stay. It’s about meaningful cultural exchange, learning how others live, and building friendships across borders. I love the idea that strangers can become friends simply by opening their homes and hearts.
As someone passionate about nature and agriculture, I’m especially excited to connect with people who value the land, community, and simple living. Every new connection teaches me something and helps me grow.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One of the most amazing experiences I’ve had is standing in the middle of a quiet forest at sunrise, listening to nothing but birds and the wind moving through the trees. In that moment, I felt completely connected to nature and deeply grateful for life.
As someone passionate about agriculture, I’ve also had the privilege of visiting farms and seeing how communities depend on the land for survival. Watching seeds grow into food that feeds families reminds me how powerful and beautiful simple things can be.
