I'm on Couchsurfing because I'm venturing to London for my master's degree and, truth be told, I find myself in a bit of a pickle when it comes to accommodations. As a first-time solo traveler, the idea of being alone in a hotel or hostel feels a tad daunting. Instead, I'm seeking the warmth and camaraderie of Couchsurfing to not only find a place to crash but also to connect with like-minded souls who can ease the transition into this new chapter of my life.
