One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Una de las experiencias más increíbles que he vivido es mi aventura en las majestuosas Cascadas de Huaxtla, en Jalisco. Allí, me lancé al emocionante mundo del cañonismo, desafiándome a mí mismo al descender por tres impresionantes cascadas de aproximadamente 30 metros cada una. Nunca antes había experimentado el rappel, y la adrenalina que sentí al descender solo, consciente de que un simple error podría llevarme a un accidente, fue indescriptible. La emoción de la caída y la belleza natural que me rodeaba hicieron de esta experiencia un verdadero hito en mi vida.

Otro logro memorable fue nadar hasta el Islote El Morro, conocido también como Farallón del Obispo, en Acapulco. A pesar de que sé nadar, la primera vez que enfrenté las olas del mar y las corrientes del océano resultó ser un verdadero reto. La distancia de aproximadamente 250 metros desde la playa hasta el islote fue una prueba de resistencia física y mental, pero no me rendí. A medida que luchaba contra las corrientes, cada brazada se sintió como un pequeño triunfo. Finalmente, lograr alcanzar el islote fue una victoria personal, y las impresionantes fotos que tomé desde allí son un recordatorio de que con perseverancia se pueden superar obstáculos.

Ambas experiencias no solo fueron emocionantes, sino que también me enseñaron sobre mi propia capacidad de enfrentar desafíos y salir victorioso.

One of the most incredible experiences I have lived is my adventure at the majestic Huaxtla Waterfalls in Jalisco. There, I dived into the exciting world of canyoning, challenging myself to descend three impressive waterfalls of approximately 30 meters each. I had never experienced rappel before, and the adrenaline I felt while descending alone, aware that a simple mistake could lead to an accident, was indescribable. The thrill of the descent and the natural beauty surrounding me made this experience a true milestone in my life.

Another memorable achievement was swimming to El Morro Islet, also known as Farallón del Obispo, in Acapulco. Although I know how to swim, facing the ocean waves and currents for the first time proved to be a real challenge. The distance of approximately 250 meters from the beach to the islet tested my physical and mental endurance, but I didn’t give up. As I struggled against the currents, each stroke felt like a small triumph. Finally reaching the islet was a personal victory, and the amazing photos I took from there are a reminder that with perseverance, obstacles can be overcome.

Both experiences were not only thrilling, but they also taught me about my own ability to face challenges and emerge victorious.
