About Me

Hi there! I'm Yin-Hua — born on a small island (Penghu) in Taiwan.
Ever since I was a kid, exploring the ocean’s horizon from my father's fishing boat under starlit skies, I've been fascinated by the world beyond.

I’m an explorer by nature, a Flying Cars aerospace engineer by experience, data scientist by training, and business analyst by certification and practice.
I've worked on futuristic Flying Cars in Taiwan and Dubai, pursued my master's in the U.S., and continued my entrepreneurial journey in Canada, UK.

Currently, I’m an entrepreneur focused on the space industry, connecting with people through travel and stories is my passion.

I've also worked as a Business Analyst, project manager, lifeguard, tearista in the Canada during my working holiday, and was a 2024 NASA Space Apps Hackathon - Toronto Local winner.

Life has taken me across many disciplines and countries — and it’s that richness and unpredictability I truly cherish.

I just joined Couchsurfing officially — so thank you for being open to hosting a new member of this amazing community 🙏

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To me, travel is about connection — not just to places, but to people, their everyday lives, and unique worldviews. I’ve couchsurfed unofficially in USA, Canada, Japan, China, Thailand, and Taiwan, and hosted travelers from USA, UK, Poland, Taiwan, Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, and IL.

These moments of cultural exchange — shared meals, deep talks, spontaneous kindness — are what make travel transformative.

Now, I’m thrilled to officially join the Couchsurfing platform to experience more of that magic, and contribute as a guest with gratitude and heart.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- Flight-tested, exhibited a prototype of a flying car in Dubai, and am listed as an inventor on the US, Taiwan Flying Car Invention patents.

- As a Business Analyst, analyzed and helped shape a product called JobBuddies, from idea to working prototype in just 9 weeks.

Teach, Learn, Share

🧠 Teach:
Diving, Swimming techniques, Airbnb hosting tips, flying car technology, entrepreneurship insights, and how to cook some Taiwanese/Chinese dishes. Also happy to help with startup or brainstorming projects.
