Overview
About Me
I'm a curious and adventurous person, but I can also be quiet and little introverted. When I feel comfortable I really enjoy talking about profound topics. I love to listen to and understand the minds of the people who inhabit the world.
I have lived practically my entire life in a tiny little village in Spain and always dreamed of travelling. At 18, I started travelling, with little money and many difficulties such as social anxiety and lots of fears, but my curiosity to discover the world has been stronger and has always led me to places and people who have taught me a lot and changed my life.
I feel that travelling has been like therapy for me. Going out into the world has made me confront myself directly and has helped me see myself from other perspectives. It has also changed the way I see others and the way I relate to the world.
I have travelled long distances by hitchhiking and this way of travelling has opened my heart and mind. It has helped me see that the world is indeed full of kindness despite all the chaos.
Life is so precious and ephemeral. Every day I feel lucky to live on this incredibly strange and miraculous planet.
I'm fascinated by the mystery of existence and the nature of the constant change of all things.
Thanks to my nomadic lifestyle, I'm learning to embrace uncertainty. Sometimes it is still a bit scary, but there is a peculiar beauty in surrendering and trusting that everything will be alright. In the end, no matter what you do or what happens, something powerful will be learned.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I started using CS last summer on our cycling trip. It was a lovely way to meet people along the way, and I think it's wonderful to have platforms like this where you can find other travellers who share the gratitude of having been welcomed or the desire to connect with different people, share stories and culture, and have a good time together :D
One day, when I settle down somewhere, I will love to welcome other adventurers. I cannot wait to give back all the kindness and generosity that others have shown me (meantime I try to give it while travelling)
Interests
I love to sing and I also play the violin a bit but I'm a beginner. I adore flutes. I want to collect traditional flutes from all over the world
In general I find all kinds of art admirable, and I would love to express myself in any way I can through art! There is so much to do!
Cooking is definitely something I'm passionate about. I feel that it is another art, and it also involves all five senses (you can see it, smell it, touch it, taste it and listen to it)
I'm a nature lover. I grew up in a very small village and my mind and body are attuned to the rural world. Cities can be a bit overwhelming for me at times, but I can also appreciate their madness.
I like to move my body and get tired. It makes me feel alive.
Last summer I travelled through Ireland and Scotland for two and a half months. Before the trip I wasn't used to cycling, but after this trip I go everywhere on my bike! I plan to continue travelling like this
I would also love to travel by sailboat.
There are so many interesting ways to travel that I feel like I don't have enough time in my life to do it all AHHHH
I love volunteering, joining projects and learning about different lifestyles. My travel philosophy is to immerse myself in the places I visit, not as a tourist but as someone who brings their energy to help make a place work even just a little bit better. I think that in the end we are all here to serve each other. So if you have some work to do and need an extra pair of hands, I will be happy to help!
I have volunteered in communities in the mountains (France and Slovenia) helping in the vegetable garden and cooking. Also at festivals in Poland. I have also done a lot of service in vipassana meditation centres. This meditation technique has helped me enormously. It's a blessing to have found it
NEXT ADVENTURE: GO TO JAPAN, HITCHHIKE FROM OSAKA TO NISEKO AND MEET UP WITH MY PARTNER THERE, WHO WILL TEACH ME HOW TO SKI!!!
日本の文化を学び、現地の人たちと出会うことをとても楽しみにしています。日本を訪れるのは今回が初めてで、今からとてもワクワクしています!

Music, Movies, and Books
I really enjoy discovering all kinds of music, music is an amazing way of communication and I find it very curious to see how it branches out and expands.
That's why I listen to a great variety of music, although I enjoy folklore from all over the world a lot. Usually I'm interested in the old and traditional music of the places I go to.
Genres I listen to lately: Japanese folk music, flamenco, jazz, soul and fusions
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
For me it's still crazy to think that I changed my whole life to travel, and that my life is now constantly on the move.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can cook delicious food and help around the house/garden or other tasks, just ask me and if I can help, I will gladly do so. I can also play some music but I'm very shy about it haha
