Hi, I am Seher Bahar 🌸
I am 23 years old and I live in Istanbul, but currently I am doing my Erasmus in Lisbon. I study tourism guidance and I really enjoy traveling slowly and getting to know places through people.
I like walking around cities, talking, sharing daily life and learning small local details that you cannot find in guidebooks. I am an easy going and respectful person, and I care about cleanliness and personal space.
I enjoy simple conversations, coffee, music and calm plans rather than rushing everywhere.

For me Couchsurfing is not just about accommodation, but about trust, connection and cultural exchange. I am grateful for the people I meet on the way and the experiences we share.

PS: I’m staying in a dorm so it’s hard for me to host right now because it is forbidden to take someone from outside🙏

I’m on Couchsurfing to meet new people, make friends, and share experiences. I love learning about other cultures and lifestyles, and I enjoy sharing my own stories too. Also, since I’m a student, my budget is limited, so staying with locals makes travel possible and more meaningful.

I listen to music depending on my mood, mostly chill, indie and soft pop. I enjoy reading fiction as well, especially stories that pull me into another world. I also like books about mythology, culture . For movies and series, I enjoy sci fi and time travel. I like watching things that make me think and feel something.

I decided to step out of my comfort zone and travel on my own, trusting myself and the people I meet along the way. It changed how I see the world and myself. 😅
