Hi there! I'm Ruben, 18 years of age, and I love traveling. I'm always excited for new adventures, wether that is by visiting new places, meeting new people or doing things that are outside of my comfort zone.

This july, I will be going hitchhiking through the United States with a good friend of mine. Our trip starts in Boston, from which we will go to New York and after that to washington. From there we will go land inwards, hoping to see the american country side.

In the cities, I hope to go to some comedy clubs, beautiful parks, places where music is being played and most inportantly some places with good food!

My friend, Thymo, is also 18 years of age and has the same adventurous attitude to the world as me. He's often seen cycling professionally or being with friends.

I do not yet have any references because I am new to the couchsurfing community but hopefully that will change soon!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing because I believe the best way to experience a place is through its people. I'd love to connect, learn and share stories with people from different cultures and different parts of the world.

Interests

I love being active by doing things I love such as lifting weights, running, climbing or doing an ocassional game of tennis. Besides that I'm also really into music. I play the guitar and produce some music with a friend of mine.
