Hi, I’m Bérénice, a student from Belgium who loves seeing the world and discovering new places and cultures.

I really enjoy meeting new people along the way, sharing stories, and getting a glimpse of everyday life wherever I go. Hiking makes me especially happy, most of all in the mountains, where long days outside and beautiful views make me feel completely free.

In winter I’m just as excited to be out skiing, enjoying the snow during the day and cozy conversations in the evening. I’m easygoing, curious, and always up for a walk, a home-cooked meal, or just a good chat about travel and life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Being on Couchsurfing is, for me, the best way to really get to know a country through the people who actually live there.

I love the idea of learning about daily life, habits, and small traditions directly in someone’s home instead of just seeing the tourist side of a place. Couchsurfing feels like a chance to share cultures, stories, and simple moments together, and that’s exactly the kind of travel experience I’m looking for.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One amazing thing I’ve done was solo volunteering in Morocco, in a place with almost no phone service, just me and the people who live there. I was there during Aid Mubarak, sharing meals and daily life with local families, and it was an incredibly intense and beautiful experience that really changed how I look at connection and community.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share stories from my travels, from hiking in the mountains to volunteering and experiencing local life up close, and I’m always up for a small chat, a hike, or simply a relaxed evening with a board game.
