About Me
Hello stranger,
I’m Árnika, a creative soul who is just starting to spread her wings. I live in Budapest now, but I grew up near the beautiful Pilis hills, close to the city. I love hiking, wandering around, and enjoying good food especially in inspiring places. Creativity is a big part of me. I often do embroidery and sometimes card weaving.
I enjoy connecting with unique people who are also free spirits. A friend recently told me about Couchsurfing, and honestly it sounded like a wonderful way to experience new places, more personal and meaningful than typical travel. I’m excited to explore the world this way. Also, I’ve inherited an old analog camera, and I’d love to use it to capture moments from my travels.
I can be shy and quiet sometimes, but despite that, I’m open and friendly, and it doesn’t take much to get me out of my shell. I love cooking and trying new dishes, so I’m happy to help around the house if needed.
I’m really looking forward to meeting a host who enjoys good conversations (even deeper, serious topics), maybe over a nice cup of coffee or tea.
Oh, and I forgot to mention that I LOVE animals.
Ps: I’m here purely for cultural exchange and friendship.
I’m not using Couchsurfing for dating or flirting.
If you feel the same, I’m really looking forward to meeting you and having great conversations.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One amazing thing I’ve done is becoming braver and trying things that push me out of my comfort zone.It might not seem like a big deal to others, but for me, it’s been a meaningful and important step
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach the basics of card weaving.
I'd love to learn how to live more self-sufficiently and independently from the system, while also experiencing everyday life in different cultures as I travel.
I enjoy sharing good food and simple but meaningful moments with others.
