About Me

My name is Dany and I’m from Ukraine. I live in Georgia for 2 years.
My English isn’t quite good, but I’m glad to use opportunity to improve it! :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m trying to find new friends and new activities in Kutaisi and in the world, I think travel without communication with expats or locals isn’t travel for me. I want to know how people live in different countries.

Interests

There are two things I love the most: walk and speak with people. This is reason why I like travelling, because it includes both of them.
Also I play video games, read books, watch anime/films/shows, learn languages (Polish right now and I’m improving my English) and do sport.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: I’m a big fun of The Lord of the Ring trilogy and I like Hobbit also, but less.
1+1
Three idiots
Ford v. Ferrari.
All movies about knights, swords and castles (Troja, Gladiator, The brave heart, Kingdom of heaven)

Books
Musashi by Eiji Yoshikava
Harry Potter and Methods of Rationality by Eliezer Yudkowsky
Hobbit by Tolkien
Now I read more nonfiction, it impresses me, but because of difficulty with reading about some abstract things I can’t say I love it. I just need to read it. :/

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Slept inside the car on the top of mountain during thunderstorm.
I hitchhiked 1500 km, it was crazy, I slept 8 hours in 4 days, but despite it I was happy! :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I wanna practice my English and Polish languages. I think speak with native speakers or with people who know those languages is the best way to learn languages. In exchange I can teach someone Ukrainian and tell something about my country and my people.

Countries I’ve Visited

Georgia, Poland, Russian Federation, Ukraine

Countries I’ve Lived In

Georgia, Ukraine
