you can just call me Sherry, 24 y.o, from Taiwan🇹🇼. I graduated from my university last year and afterward came straight to Austria for 1 year working holiday. in October my visa expired, so I decided to do a "Homeless Journey | On my way back home" project, which I want to challenge myself and see how far I can go.

My traveling route is England ▶️ Europe ▶️ Balken ▶️ Turkey ▶️ Middle Asia ▶️ Southeast Asia. This is my first time doing such a long journey and I'm trying my best to survive and accomplish it🙌.

I'm always open to meeting new friends. Traveling alone is full of freedom but sometimes traveling with others makes the trip even unforgettable!🥰

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Most of the time I'm traveling alone and I want to have some connections with local culture and meet more new friends, and then I discovered couchsurfing, which I think it might be a cool way to explore a new culture so I give it a try! 😊

Interests

My hobbies are basically sports but I'm not a really sporty person. I'm trying to build up a habit of exercising regularly every week.

My most favorite sport I would say aerial yoga! It's really interesting and challenging when I bond myself on the ropes and trying to do different positions. Each time after the lessons I feel my body refreshed and spiritually satisfied. This is the biggest motivation I engage myself in aerial yoga as well as other forms of yoga 🧘‍♀️

My majors were Arabic (only studying it for 2 years) and Korean (very proficient). Now I'm learning German, my level is around B2, so I can speak 4 languages fluently! (English, Chinese, Korean and German )

As I'm a kid I'm obsessed with foreign cultures. It is like Aladdin’s magic lamp, full of mystery and the unknown, and I want to uncover those mysteries by traveling there myself. It's also the biggest motivation that I put a lot of effort into learning a new language !
