Hey😁, my name is Sandra, I’m 22 and I come from Slovakia. I’m working as a bartender and waitress in cuban coctail bar for more than 5 years. This year, I’ve completed a bachelor’s degree in economics and management. I have been dancing since I was a child, which I adore most of all. Currently I’m part of the cheerleader team in my hometown and also latino dance group. I’m big extrovert and I love meeting new people.

I was last summer in the USA, in Traverse City (MI) for work and travel program with my friend. We were travelling across a few countries of the USA after we finished our jobs.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think this is the perfect place for meeting new people from all around the world and from all kinds of cultures. By this time, I was staying just in airbnbs and hostels but I would like to try something new in my life. I have to say that I’m still just a student so there is a part of my economical me which wants to save as much money as possible during travelling😃.

Music, Movies, and Books

MUSIC - I love all kinds of music, especially those ones wich are good for dancing and partying. Also I prefer Drum&Bass and Techno so rave is the best place you can take me:). On the other hand, I really love Milky Chance, Maneskin or Masego. After all, best playlist you can play me is the list of pop songs from 00’ to 2010. I’m big fan of music festivals too. My least favourite gentre is metal and genres similar to it.

MOVIES - my most favourite movies are comedies because I love to laugh a lot in my life. Hangover is one of the top I would say but I won’t reject watching the Pirates of the Caribbean either. I don’t really like thrillers or disaster movies, they make me feel weird and uncomfortable after watching. I have seen whole Star Wars movies and series including. Marvel the same as Star Wars.

BOOKS - I have to admit that I’m not a big fan of books although I woul like to be. Everytime I start reading some book, I just won’t finish it even though I like it. I much rather prefer some movement activities.
