About Me

Hi there! I'm originally from Germany but currently living in Toronto. I'm studying to become a teacher with a focus on English and Art. I have a passion for traveling and discovering new cultures, and I love meeting people from all walks of life. I’m open-minded, enjoy a good laugh, and always keep things tidy. :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe that the best way to experience a new place is through the eyes of locals. I love the idea of connecting with people from different backgrounds, sharing stories, and learning from each other's experiences. I’m excited to contribute to and be part of this amazing community!

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm a big fan of both German and American Hip-Hop, and I also enjoy American Pop music.
I'm pretty open when it comes to movies—I love watching all kinds of genres, but I have a special soft spot for action films.
I read a lot of non-fiction, especially books that expand my understanding of the world, but I’m also trying to dive more into fiction lately to explore different storytelling styles.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the most amazing experiences I've had was traveling solo for the first time this past April. I went to Vancouver and worked as an au pair, just like I’m doing now. It was an incredible opportunity to explore a new city on my own, meet new people, and really step out of my comfort zone. The independence and personal growth I gained from that trip are something I’ll always cherish.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can share a lot about German culture, including the language, traditional food, and music. Whether you're interested in learning some basic German phrases, discovering new music, or trying out a German recipe, I'm happy to teach and share my knowledge.
I'm eager to learn about different languages and cultures from around the world. I'm open to exploring new traditions, trying new foods, and deepening my understanding of the diverse world we live in.
I love sharing stories and experiences from my travels, and I'm always up for a cultural exchange—whether it's through cooking, music, or just good conversation.

What I Can Share with Hosts

As a guest, I can share my positive energy, respect, and an open mind. I’m happy to exchange stories about my experiences living in different places and traveling, and I can introduce you to aspects of German culture, if you're interested. I’m also more than willing to help out around the house and contribute in any way I can to make our time together enjoyable.
