About Me

HI! I´m from Rosario, Argentina — yes, Messi’s hometown ⚽ — and somehow life me dragged me into biological sciences. I don´t really see myself as a a stereotypical nerd and I’m still not sure what brought me to science… but here I am, in Boston for a few months doing research in microbiology. I work with bacteria, — but the good ones, don’t worry 🦠✨
Outside the lab, I’m curious, observant, and easily distracted by interesting conversations and cities that feel alive. I like wandering without a strict plan and letting things unfold.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I already have a place to stay, so I’m not looking for accommodation and unfortunately I can´t host. I’m here because cities make more sense when you experience them through people, not guidebooks.
I’d love to meet up to explore neighborhoods, grab a beer, go to small concerts, talk about life and cultural differences or just wander around.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love Argentine cinema and independent films in general. The kind where "nothing happens" but somehow everything happens. I’m into novels with a real story behind them. I like narratives that stay with me and leave me thinking — about people, history, or life. If I finish a book and feel slightly different than before, that’s a good sign. Outside the lab, I don’t have a fixed music genre — my playlists are a bit chaotic. I’ve taken salsa and tango classes, and I love partner dancing. There’s something beautiful about that kind of communication: when a dance works, you don’t need words, just attention and trust.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Moved alone to another country to do microbiology research on tiny invisible organisms… and somehow made that sound exciting at dinner conversations.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to properly prepare mate (there is a right way 🧉).
I can share Argentine music and film recommendations.
I can explain why bacteria are actually fascinating and not just “germs.”

I’d love to learn about your city, your favorite hidden spots, and the random things that shaped your life.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Honestly, I’m not entirely sure what I can offer… but let’s meet and discover it together!
