Overview
About Me
Hey there! I'm Sreenandh — a passionate artist and tourism professional from India, blending creativity with cultural curiosity. By day, I work in the travel and tourism industry, helping people explore new places and stories. By heart, I’m an artist deeply inspired by India’s rich heritage, colors, and rhythms — from traditional mural and folk art to contemporary expressions.
Travel for me is not just about destinations, but about the people, the conversations, the food, and the hidden moments in between. I love connecting with locals, learning about their way of life, and exchanging stories that leave lasting impressions.
Whether it’s hosting travelers, exploring hidden trails, or sketching the soul of a city, I believe in sharing experiences that spark inspiration and kindness. If you're into meaningful conversations, local culture, and creative energy, we’ll get along great!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’m on Couchsurfing because I truly believe that the best way to experience a place is through the people who live there. As someone working in the tourism field, I’ve seen how authentic human connections can transform a journey into something deeply meaningful.
Couchsurfing allows me to meet fellow travelers, share cultural insights, and engage in creative exchanges. Whether it's through conversations, art, or exploring hidden gems together, I love being part of a global community that values openness, trust, and shared experiences over material comforts.
It’s also my way of giving back — hosting travelers, learning from their stories, and offering them a glimpse into local life, art, and culture wherever I am.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I conducted a National trip during my Graduation period and Last September, I hiked the 17 km trail to the Valley of Flowers in the Himalayas—right after a night spent on a Gurudwara floor and a dawn ride in a shared taxi past fresh landslide debris! Reaching the alpine meadows at 12,000 ft, I sketched and filmed the valley’s fleeting carpet of blue poppies and cobra lilies, then turned the whole trek—weather scares, Sikh hospitality, and all—into a short documentary for India’s “Dekho Apna Desh” initiative. Nothing beats watching your footage later and realizing you’ve bottled a little piece of Himalayan magic for other travelers to dream about.
Teach, Learn, Share
As someone born and raised in Kerala, I carry a deep love for its rich art, culture, and traditions. I'm an artist at heart — I love to draw, paint, and create wall art inspired by Indian folk and tribal styles, especially Kerala’s own mural art. I enjoy turning blank spaces into vibrant stories using colors and patterns, and I'm always up for sharing tips, techniques, or even creating something together!
In return, I’m always excited to learn from others — new artistic styles, travel stories, creative expressions, or even how people from different places see and experience culture. I believe every exchange leaves us richer.
If you're into art, culture, and open-hearted conversations, we’ll definitely connect.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I believe in meaningful exchanges, not just staying in someone’s home. I’d love to share stories from my travels across India, my experiences in the tourism world, and the cultural gems of Kerala — from its festivals and rituals to hidden villages and artistic traditions.
As an artist, I can also offer something special — a small sketch, a hand-drawn postcard, or a bit of wall art (if you’re okay with it!). I enjoy creating art inspired by the places I visit and the people I meet, so if you're into creative vibes, I’m happy to leave a little piece behind.
I’m also more than happy to help with cooking a simple South Indian meal, introduce you to Malayalam phrases, or just have great conversations about life, travel, art, and culture.
Gratitude, respect, and cultural exchange — that’s what I hope to bring with me wherever I go.
