About Me
Hi, Hi, I'm Han. I enjoy trying new things, love adventure, and meeting new people. I'm extroverted when I'm out with friends, but introverted at home, where I need my own space. If we have common interests, I'd be happy to do things together—like cooking, watching movies, or going out to a party. I studied fashion design in college, so I love browsing vintage shops, and I can repair or make clothes. Later, I worked in fashion brand marketing, and I also have a small personal brand. I love sports and I'm a big foodie. Looking forward to meeting you!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am moving to the Netherlands for a year and I want to use Couchsurfing to immerse myself in the local culture and connect with the residents..
Interests
I enjoy sports. Besides swimming, I also enjoy running and hiking. I love food, so one of my hobbies is marking all the restaurants I want to visit on Google Maps. Additionally, I enjoy watching movies and reading books.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music:
My taste in music is very broad, ranging from classic oldies, classical music, rap, K-pop, and jazz, to songs by independent bands from different countries.
Recommendation: ik zwaai het uit from Norah Hendriks
Books:
Enjoy reading psychology books. Recently, I’ve been reading a lot of books about the Netherlands due to my travel plans. I might buy The Midnight Library to read soon.
Podcast:
Big love to stand up comedy and international news
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The best decision I made this year was to apply for a working holiday in the Netherlands, giving myself a gap year to reflect and truly experience life.
Teach, Learn, Share
During the summer, I achieved a Red Cross Lifeguard Instructor license, Swiftwater Rescue certification, and a Chinese Language Teacher certification. I look forward to applying my new skills in the future.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I have a passion for cooking Asian cuisine, including Thai mango sticky rice (provided the host can help me find mangoes), Korean kimchi stew, Japanese donburi, Taiwanese braised pork rice, and Chinese spicy boiled beef. I also have a Chinese language teacher certification if you're interested in learning Chinese, and I can teach you how to swim and rescue yourself. Additionally, I enjoy brewing pour-over coffee and have learned professional techniques for calculating the brewing process. I'm looking forward to sharing what I've learned with you!
