I am an athletics teacher, performer, artist, and international volunteer. For over 8 years I taught Parkour, Aerial Acrobatics, and Calisthenics professionally, while fire performing, and occasionally babysitting and tutoring kids for mathematics, art, and various athletic activities. I enjoy consistently training and learning new skills, both physically and mentally, and I have a particular fascination with linking all skills and hobbies together to form new developments. This could be anything from mixing parkour with archery, or using video games and animal studies to help with construction projects. I believe that virtually every skill set and passion can be transferable, and I love to push the limits on how many varieties of developments we can form with this philosophy.

Now I'm pursuing a life of travel, learning from the world while offering assistance wherever I can. Usually I travel through HelpxChange, though I since being introduced to CS I've loved my experiences in these communities, and these have honestly led to some of the most amazing memories in my adventures!

**My Message To Hosts:**
I understand that welcoming strangers into your home requires A Lot of trust and communication and I am so incredibly grateful for everyone who has agreed to accommodate me so far!
That being said I would like to make my intentions and priorities known. Two of my greatest core values are the balance of efforts, and most of all, the Respect For Boundaries. I feel like the trickiest part of this application is working with the fact that everyone has different priorities, ideals, boundaries, and concerns, all for very good reasons. So I would like to adapt myself to respect the preferences of my hosts as best as I can. (while still maintaining my own values and boundaries of course)

To any Women/AFAB hosts or surfers who I may meet here:
I understand that meeting a random male such as myself could be a very risky decision to make, especially allowing us into your home with minimal prior introduction, and I am so sorry that this is even a concern to begin with.
While I do know of many situations where meeting through applications such as this have actually led to many successful and genuinely respectable relationships,
Please Know that this is NOT My Priority or intention At All. I am here to travel, to learn, to offer help as requested, and to form real trusted connections. I am so honored to now have formed many genuine friendships around the world who we can actually trust and support each other as needed, and I do not ever want to do anything to disrupt that.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm here to learn from the world, I'm not one for touristy traveling and would much rather immerse myself into the local communities and lifestyles. I've found that CS and Helpx (or other work away like programs) seem to be the best ways to do this!

Music, Movies, and Books

Books: I usually read deep plot fantasies or encyclopedias of various scientific studies Mistborn, Storm Light Archives, (and all of Brandon Sanderson's other cosmere books) throne of Glass, the Alchemist, and Many others

Movies: I have seen way too many movies in my life, and could probably have an entire conversation using only movie quotes 😅
I consider film viewing to be kind of a non-verbal social activity, and Love watching movies that could inspire deep conversations afterwards. Although I do also enjoy a variety of comedies, romantics, action/adventures, etc. I have plenty of recommendations from pretty much every genre, and I'm always happy too watch new films with friends!

Music: My playlists are a mix of everything from classical orchestras, to romantic oldies, to modern metal. I'd love to hear new recommendations!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

There have been far too many amazing experiences in life to narrow down just one 😄 (it was tough enough to choose five)

Dancing with a wild sea turtle underwater

Discovering that using fire spinning techniques with fluffy toys can actually be an incredible therapy method for kids dealing with cerebral palsy

Swimming through freezing Danish water in the middle of the night surrounded by bioluminescent comb jellyfish

Traveling across the world to learn a rare style of ancient speed archery from one of the greatest archers in the world

Getting the honor of being able to help hundreds of kids to find and develop their artistic passions (this one I've experienced throughout most of my years and will very likely continue for the rest of my life! Nothing really compares ☺️)

Teach:
I professionally teach Parkour, Aerial Silks, Trapeze, Flow Spinning, and Calisthenics. I can also share my experience of acro-archery, visual arts, percussion music, and any of my other interests listed above ☺️

Everything! I am always happy to try new things and I love to learn more about other cultures and philosophies.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I make it a goal to keep my space tidy, and respect any accommodations offered by others. I am more than happy to help out with some extra cleaning and cooking as well if requested.

I'm very happy to meet new people and share conversations, but I also want to respect if others prefer more distance instead. I love to learn from new cultures and lifestyles, and I am also happy to share stories or activities from any of my experiences!
