Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I'm a traveler, not a tourist.

For me, travel is about connecting with places and people on a deeper level, beyond the postcard-perfect shots.

Couchsurfing has introduced me to some of the most genuine and fascinating travelers. And I hope to meet even more remarkable people.

I love to return the favor and welcome travelers back home in Rome (Italy) or perhaps in Cyprus.

Visiting Iraq was an eye-opener; despite media portrayals. I found a country full of warmth, peace, and welcoming people, a part obviously its sites and its amazing history.

Visitar Irak fue una revelación, a pesar de la imagen que ofrecen los medios. Descubrí un país lleno de calidez, paz y gente acogedora, además, obviamente, de sus lugares turísticos y su asombrosa historia.
