Hey, I'm Thomas!
A french guy currently traveling around the world, living this lucky dream that had been in my head for a while

I did quit my job to make this project happen, before that i worked as an engineer in steel construction, then six years in my father's company and lastly was a web developper !

My home town is Tours, in the center of France and i also lived some time in the alps

I love sports, doing a lot of hiking while traveling and gym when i settle somewhere. Was also a kind of competitive swimmer for some years

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to meet locals and others travelers to chat, learn and share about our cultures and different countries

Backpacking has been part of my life for some years, and the beauty of traveling comes a lot from the people you meet, way more than the things you see

Interests

Doing this trip to get out of my confort zone, learn about myself and really find what moves me
So far i can tell that i cherish alot those moments spent with new people, the quietness of sunrises and sunsets and obviously sports, going to the gym or climb a summit is so good for the body and mind

I'm not the best cook but we can try to make a french dish!
Worked 6 years in a small garden center / plant nursery, could give you a hand in your garden and some handwork
