Overview
About Me
I lived in Brazil with my parents, sister and dog. I loved my routine with them and I'm extremely attached to my family.
In Brazil, I was always going out with my family or going out with my friends to new restaurants, it was our favorite pastime together.
Deciding to move for a year and become an au pair wasn't an easy decision, but I felt it was the right time as I wasn't satisfied with my old job, I really wanted to practice English, live abroad for a while and be able to travel. That's why I chose Europe as my destination, as I want to travel to as many places as possible.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
As an au pair I don't earn enough to go on big trips and I heard about couchsurfing from the host family I live with. They use it a lot and tell me that they always have good experiences, with cultural exchanges, travel tips and a good welcome. So I felt more comfortable giving it a try and will be staying with a Brazilian friend of mine who is coming to spend her vacations traveling with me.
Music, Movies, and Books
Last year I started reading Korean books and fell in love with The Inconvenient Convenience Store and Almonds. The last movie I watched was Little women and I'm still not over it, it was very comforting to watch. I've also watched almost all the Studio Ghibli films, they've been my comfort movies for the last year.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'd like to say thank you very much for the warm welcome and that I like to talk a lot about travel topics, curiosities and different customs.
