Overview
About Me
A couple of days ago i overheard my friend telling my girlfriend that "Otto is the perfect amount of weird" I guess that sums it up quite well. Apart from that I am 19 years old and have just finished saving up for travelling Europe by working in a kindergarten :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to try to travel solo, and i figured Couchsurfing is probably the best way to meet local people and actually see the country you are visiting from another angle than the view from a red doubledecker bus.
And I think i want to try to prove to myself that the world primarily consists of people who do their best for themselves and everyone around them.
Interests
... I am generally a curious person so I enjoy to learn new things, not just about these topics, but about basically anything.
- writing
- theater
- concerts
- politics
- movies
- board games
- music
- hiking
- litterature
- cultural exchange
- public transportation
Music, Movies, and Books
I try to use most of my free time reading or listening to music. I mostly read fiction, but I just finished Karl-Ove Knausgårds "My Struggle" which is more of a self biography..
I listen to a lot of electronic music of many different sorts, I like everything that is a bit experimental. Lately I have been listening to a lot of African music as well, Fela Kuti, Youssou N'dour, Ali Farka Touré and many others.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
A long time ago i walked in a city at night, and a lamppost turned of the second I walked under it. Nothing happened to any other light source and I were completely alone. That was just a crazy coincidence I guess?
Teach, Learn, Share
Hmm... I like to talk about music and litterature and i like to get good recommendations!
