About Me
Hey! I’m a 22-year-old Latvian who speaks Latvian, Russian, and English (basically a walking language buffet). Most of my travel are with my boyfriend Samuel, who also speaks 3 languages😄
I love exploring new cities, especially the quirky, off-the-beaten-path spots. You’ll usually find me trying out weird street food, asking way too many questions, or getting distracted by cute cafes. I’m also a fantastic cook, so if you’re up for a homemade Latvian dish (or maybe something more adventurous), I’ve got you covered!
When I’m not on the move, I’m hanging out with my cat, challenging myself in the kitchen, or binge-watching shows while pretending to be productive. I’m all about making memories and laughing at myself along the way—usually because I’ve done something mildly embarrassing.
If you’re up for good company, great food, and some spontaneous adventures, let’s chat!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Why am I on Couchsurfing? Because I’m here for the real experience—the one where you don’t just visit a place, but actually live it. I want to meet people who are ready to share their favorite local secrets, show me those hidden gems no one talks about, and maybe introduce me to their favorite local dish (that I’ll probably be super excited to try, even if I can’t pronounce it).
I’m all about stepping off the tourist trail, getting into random conversations, and making memories with people who actually know what’s up. So if you’re up for some spontaneous adventures, laughs, and stories that are probably better than my travel guide, I’m your person. Let’s make it happen!
Interests
I’m pretty simple when it comes to interests—mostly, I love experiencing new things and meeting people who are just as curious about the world as I am. I’m into exploring different cultures, trying new foods, and seeing what makes each place unique. When I’m not traveling, I enjoy getting lost in music (from afrobeats to jazz and everything in between), reading books, and binge-watching movies that make me think or make me laugh. I’m always up for a good conversation, and I love discovering something new every day.

Music, Movies, and Books
When it comes to music, I’m all over the place—afrobeats for when I want to dance, jazz for when I’m feeling classy, and everything in between. From funky grooves to smooth R&B, I’m pretty much open to anything that gets my feet moving or my head nodding. There’s something about the rhythm that makes everything feel a bit better, no matter what mood I’m in.
As for films, I’m a big fan of business-themed dramas that dive into the madness of corporate life—think The Social Network or The Wolf of Wall Street. I also love comedy that doesn’t hold back, like the kind that’ll have you laughing until your stomach hurts, whether it’s Superbad or anything from the world of The Office. And, of course, sci-fi always gets me hooked—Blade Runner, The Matrix, and Black Mirror all hold a special place in my heart for their mind-bending twists and futuristic vibes.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One of the most incredible things I’ve done in my life was being part of a singing group in my teens that would perform at foster homes for kids. Until I was 18, my friends and I would show up for birthdays, holidays, and random celebrations to entertain kids who might not have had many other reasons to celebrate. We’d sing, dance, and probably embarrass ourselves with some very questionable choreography (but hey, it was all in the name of fun).
It was an experience that taught me the power of small moments and the impact you can have by just showing up and having a good time. The best part? The kids always had the most hilarious feedback, which, honestly, made the whole thing feel like a success. It wasn’t about perfection—it was about bringing joy, and it was probably the most fun I’ve ever had with a microphone in hand (even if it was just for a group of very honest 8-year-olds).
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you a little bit of Russian or Latvian 😁
What I Can Share with Hosts
I’m a bartender, could make you an unforgettable cocktail, or a couple ;) My boyfriend is in sales, so if by any chance you want to learn anything about sales or marketing, he’ll be talking about it all the time (if you want to find about about it of course)
