Overview
About Me
Hiiii Im Ahmet Yusuf from Istanbul. Im currently studying online at university, but I will be taking the university entrance exam again soon. I have worked in restaurant kitchens before, and thats where I discovered how much I love cooking and sharing food with people.
I would describe myself as friendly, open-minded, and a bit goofy sometimes — I love making people laugh, even if its with a bad joke or a weird dance move. I believe the best way to connect with someone is through good conversation, shared meals, and music.
I enjoy learning about different lifestyles, local habits, and hearing peoples life stories. Thats one of the reasons Im here: to meet kind souls from all over the world, to share, learn, and maybe make lifelong friendships along the way.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I believe the world feels more connected when we share moments, stories, and even a couch. Im on Couchsurfing because I want to meet people from different cultures, learn about their daily lives, and maybe share a good meal or a laugh together.
Traveling isnt just about seeing places for me — its about feeling the atmosphere, hearing real stories, and building connections that stay in your memory longer than the landmarks. I would love to be not just a guest, but also a good friend along the way.

Music, Movies, and Books
My favorite song is La Grange by ZZ Top and I also love Whole Lotta Rosie by AC/DC. I’m into classic rock, jazz, and blues. Anything that makes me feel alive or want to move!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I once cooked an entire dinner shift alone during a busy summer night — and people actually loved it! Making people happy through food, music, or a dumb joke is something I find amazing.
I’ve also made strangers laugh with my ridiculous dance moves (bonus points if I’m holding a pan while doing it).
