My greatest passion, and also something I’ve kept putting off, is exploring the world. Years ago, I already had a Couchsurfing profile and used it a couple of times. Even though I discovered amazing places and made new friends, I ended up putting this dream on the back burner. But now, the time has come—I’m hitting the road again as a solo traveler! :)

I’m a freelance graphic designer, and I have the sweetest cat named Phoebe. I love cooking, trying new things, and living spontaneously. I also enjoy meeting new people and listening to their stories—it’s one of my favorite ways to connect with the world around me.

Music is my constant companion. Whether I’m walking, working, exploring, reading, or doing anything other than sleeping, there’s always music playing in the background.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I made a bold decision to leave the tourism industry—a field I studied in high school and university and worked in professionally for five years. At the brink of earning a chef title, I decided to move to a bigger city and pursue my true passion: graphic design. Starting from scratch with zero experience, I applied to 50 different jobs, hoping for a chance. Only one opportunity came back positively, and that was the beginning of my journey.

I left my job, packed my things, and moved from Marmaris to İzmir with my dog to chase my dream. Nearly eight years later, I’ve not only achieved my goal of becoming a graphic designer but also realized my lifelong dream of working as a freelancer for the past three years. This was the most significant turning point in my life and something I’m incredibly proud of! :)
