I’m Yasser, from India. I love traveling and want to make it even better through Couchsurfing—both by staying with locals when I travel and by hosting travelers when they come to my city.

I work as the Marketing Head for an automotive company where we build electronic components for electric vehicles. My work keeps me deeply involved in technology, mobility, and how the future of transportation is being shaped.

I was born in Saudi Arabia and have lived in India, China, and Saudi Arabia. Living across different cultures has made me very comfortable connecting with people from all backgrounds. I genuinely enjoy good conversations, shared stories, and learning how others see the world.

I’m also a huge food lover and know some of the best food spots in my city, especially local and hidden gems. If you’re into eating well, we’ll definitely get along.

I’m not new to Couchsurfing. I’ve used it many times before and met some of the most amazing people, long-term travelers who’ve been on the road for over a decade, and even an engineer who helped design the Wi-Fi chip used in iPhones. Unfortunately, I lost my old account, so I’m starting from zero again.

Politics is interesting, religion and spirituality too. Technology and electric Cars are fun too. I like product development and building a marketing engine that runs at it own. Traveling and learning new culture too.

I loved Top Gun, what a movie. Watched it twice in theaters. I love Amir Khan movies too from Bollywood. Love movies with a message in it. On music I like emotional and energetic music. On books- love biographies of politicians and business leaders.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I travelled during covid- I literally skipped covid - I skipped all the lockdowns. Left China in January to Saudi - left Saudi in March - just before Saudi lock down - to Ethiopia - left Ethiopia to China - before - China lockdown and then left - China to India - before Chinas re-lockdown.

I can teach how to cook Indian food. Share how to make my own style of Biryani. I can talk a lot about politics. I can show best food places in Bangalore. Food is good here.
