My name is Frederik. I'm from Denmark and I'm 21 years old. Right now I'm on my second Gap year from High School Or in Danish "gymnasium". In the last year at school I became very School tired. A desire to travel began to grow in me. So when we finished school and was finished partying. Me and a friend went on a three month interest trip through Europe. It was a fantastic trip but unfortunately it's not free to travel. So when I got home I got a job as a cashier where I worked for a bit over a year. I used my saved up holidays to go on a 4 weeks long hiking trip in Sweden Call the kungsleden. And now I'm on a 6-month trip through Canada, New Zealand, Australia and Japan where I will hike Shikoku 88 temple's Pilgrimage.
Besides having a neck for travel I love going on Adventure with my friends. We will plan a small but what we will consider a funny trip where we are doing something. Like trying to hike 100k in 2 days. SUP board through a small river in a storm. SUP board to an abandoned Island in the sea. I also do a bit of scouting work where are i volunteer on the big Danish jamboree And do scouting courses for young people 11 and 13 years old.

I got inspired by some guys online. It really feels like an amazing way to meet local people and see a country from the other side then you usually do as a tourist.
