I am a 38-year-old woman.
Just came back from travel on a budget in East and Southeast Asia.

Only 2 experiences as a guest. And none as a host yet.
One very good host in Japan, and a second host dangerous to women in South Korea. So I have decided to not go back again to a man's house, not safe.
But it's OK to hang out, go drinking, go eating.

I love traveling, it brings some happiness to my life. I often travel alone because I can't find anyone to join me.

I enjoy discovering new cultures and immersing myself in them and connection to people with different cultures.
As I do already in France.

My goal: Visit the entire world.
But not in places that are too dangerous, not in dictatorships like North Korea, and generally not where women live in fear.

I traveled mostly between 2006 and 2013 (USA three times, Morocco, Tunisia, and Western Europe), then started again in 2024 with a month and a half in Central Europe.

I love computer science, science, innovation, AI and also Nature, history, genomics, molecular biology, archeology.

Recently, I have started a training in AI at University, to change a little bit my job.

Im not fluent in english but good enough to have some talks.
Not to debate deeply. Lack of vocabulary.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

I've known about Couchsurfing for years, but I’ve never tried it before March 2025.

I usually stay in hostels, or now couchsurfing, both for budget reasons and because I like meeting people from all over the world, going out together, and often keeping in touch.

I’ve had some of the best moments of my life in hostels with foreigners.

Once, I stayed in a hotel in the USA, and I felt extremely lonely. I hated it.
