About Me
Hello! My name is Youri and I'm brand new to Couchsurfing 😁 🇫🇷
My bigger sister and some traveling friends recommended that I should try couch surfing, and I have to say, I think it's an amazing idea!
I'm currently traveling with my friend Léo to Barcelona!
We're the same age (24) and can't wait to meet people who share our desire to chat and share our cultures 🫱🏻🫲🏽
We love sports, music, and partying 💃🏻
But we also enjoy quieter activities like hiking, reading, cats... 🌳🐈⬛
We both studied Physical Education at university.
It would be a pleasure to meet locals who are willing to talk about their country, so if that's you, don't hesitate to contact me 😊
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I think this is the best way to meet locals and exchange stories about our cultures, histories, and anecdotes! 🍷

Music, Movies, and Books
Hard to say…
I would say « Baby I am Yours » by Breakbot. So much energy, so much dansing! You should try « My swing es tropical » by Nickodemus to…
With moovies its EASY. It has to be one of Hayao Miyazaki's Ghibli films! My favourite is definitely « Princesse Mononoke » but I really like « The wind rises » because of its love story (it makes me cry every time).
The books is tough for me because I haven’t read as much in recent years as I use to but its getting better. So for me its probably « Bjorn the Morphir », a book about a young scandinave warrior that I read when I was 12 (in 8 volumes).
My favourite philosophy essay is « Letter to Ménénée » by Epicure which treats about happiness and its conditions (very easy and fast to read).
I am reading the « The three-body problem » trilogy right now.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I traveled to Senegal for two months when I was nine years old and fell in love with the atmosphere and the way people help each other there. I would love to go back to film a documentary about the places I visited with my family.
Maybe I will work as a PE teacher there one day.
