About Me

Hello everyone around the world!! 🌏👋
I’m a Japanese traveler who loves adventure🇯🇵
I am currently studying at a university in Kyoto, so I am usually not in Nagasaki. However, if you are looking for a host in Nagasaki, my parents may be able to host you, so please feel free to contact me.

First of all, my profile is written with the help of AI translation—because my English isn’t yet good enough to fully express myself… 🥲

I aim to become a person without prejudice, so I treasure every encounter, especially with people who give me new insights‼︎

However, I’m not comfortable with people who lack kindness toward others or who try to impose their values on others (always thinking they are right).
With people who are not like that, I’m always open and positive✌️

People often tell me I’m both a “typical” and a “rare” Japanese person. I have many different sides—being sensitive, considerate, following rules, and avoiding causing trouble (typical), but also open to different values, eager to try new things, and happy to live a life different from those around me (non-typical). If you can feel both sides, it means we’ve truly connected 💞

⭐️ Don’t mind if you use AI translation
⭐️ Enjoy flat, equal conversations
⭐️ Open-minded
⭐️ Curious and eager to learn
⭐️ Love sharing different cultures

I don’t smoke, and I don’t drink excessively (though I like sweet cocktails that taste like juice). I’m not into youth-oriented night parties or places where men and women gather seeking physical relationships.

I’m not vegan, so I can eat anything, but when I’m in Japan, I try to maintain a healthy diet. Whether someone loves junk food or prefers a vegan/vegetarian lifestyle,
I respect each person’s choice.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To be honest, I first downloaded this to help cover the travel expenses I was missing.

But through Couchsurfing, I’ve met so many wonderful people and realized that these moments are exactly what I was looking for in my travels. It’s the perfect opportunity to practice my English and a chance to gain new learning and experiences. I believe it can help me grow as a person even more than attending any prestigious university!!!!!

Interests

I’m interested in everything!!!
(Even things like math or programming — I just find it harder to process or remember information without a storyline🤯I really respect those who can)

Travel, nature, animals, people, conversations, philosophy, music, karaoke, art, anime, manga, games, movies, business, society, languages…
👥👒🌿🐈🎧🎨🎮📚🎬

>>> Being interested in all kinds of people means, in a way, that I’m interested in everything that people can be interested in !!

I love trying new things, but at the same time, I value peace and tranquility. I’m interested in a lifestyle where I could live self-sufficiently in the countryside while still having plenty of encounters and stimulation from others.

I want to keep exploring the meaning of happiness for my entire life. And I hope to become someone with the influence to make another person’s life richer and more fulfilling

My favorite phrase is: “Live a life like a movie!”

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all kinds of music, movies, and books, and I enjoy them depending on my mood at the time.

When I’m traveling, I especially feel that the music of Joe Hisaishi and Studio Ghibli matches the atmosphere perfectly🌱When I see a sunset or a beautiful landscape, I can’t help but start singing. If you’re curious, I’d be happy to share my playlist with you! If you ask me to sing, I will—but please don’t look at my face because I’ll feel shy🫣Singing together is always welcome🎤

When I feel lonely while taking on challenges, or when I want to overcome something difficult, I listen to a band called ONE OK ROCK. Their lyrics carry so much emotion and give me strength🎸

I watch anime more often than movies, but I love watching movies with someone. Please share your recommendations with me! I once watched a Japanese movie called Perfect Days 🇯🇵 with one host, and it made me dream of living a simple life…
I’m highly sensitive, so I’m easily influenced by what I watch.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

①Even though I could hardly speak any English, I managed to complete my very first solo trip abroad with a budget of about €600. I spent about a month in Sweden 🇸🇪 through Workaway, and that experience is what led me to start traveling the world.

②Like many other students in Japan, I didn’t want to do job hunting without knowing what happiness truly means to me—just chasing salary and status. So, I decided to travel instead. I quit soft tennis, which I had been playing since I was six years old, and spent a year working part-time to save money for my journey. Taking a gap year in my fourth year before graduation to spend three months traveling around Europe was, I believe, the best decision I have ever made in my life☀️

③ You probably haven’t seen such a long profile anywhere else, right?? But yes, I wrote this🤣
If someone actually reads all of this, they must be really interested in me! Let’s be friends 🤝

Teach, Learn, Share

I don’t have any special knowledge or skills to teach, but I can always share my mindset and experiences🫶
Nothing makes me happier than when people say they find them interesting or that they’ve learned something new from me, and I’m always looking for new ideas from others.

What I firmly believe is that no matter where we are born or what culture we come from, we are all human, each with our own unique individuality. If we judge others based solely on prejudice, we will miss out on many wonderful encounters. I also believe that we can learn from every person and every experience — in that sense, there is no such thing as a bad experience.

And if you ever want to visit Japan, tell me what you’re hoping for during your stay, and I’ll share my recommendations with you 🇯🇵🤗
Like anywhere in the world, I personally prefer quiet, peaceful countryside over big cities, so I can help you avoid feeling stressed by being surrounded by other tourists in Japan.

What I Can Share with Hosts

What I can offer is a heart of respect💖

I like to understand what others want from me and to share in their happiness. So please, never feel you have to be considerate of me. If you’re enjoying yourself, I’m happy too, and if I can do something you want to do together, that makes me glad !!!

It’s true that Japanese people often don’t say “no” to things they dislike or hide their true feelings. But in my case, I truly take everything in a positive way🫶
If you suggest something to me, I will accept it most of the time, and if it’s inconvenient for me, I’ll let you know. You don’t need to worry about whether I’m holding back.

I am a sensitive person, so if I feel you seem worried or dissatisfied, I get anxious and start reflecting on whether I might have done something wrong…

I almost never criticize others (especially when I’m in the position of being hosted), so if I ever do something you don’t like, please tell me right away. The thing that makes me saddest is unknowingly making someone feel bad🥲

Other than that, I can draw ✍️ (even anime-style illustrations), write Japanese kanji, sing, and, if you’d like, cook Japanese food.

And of course I’m happy to help with anything!!!!!!
I understand that some people don’t like others touching their belongings, but if that’s not the case, I’ll be more than happy to do the dishes or help with cleaning
🧼✨

I usually plan my travels, study, and write my diary all on my phone, but if you ever feel uncomfortable with me using my phone in front of you, please don’t hesitate to let me know!
