Hey there! My name is Max and i’m originally from Maine but am traveling the world on a gap year before going to college. In college I plan to study nursing and want to make a career in the healthcare. I currently have my EMT license and have done some work with services local to where I’m from. I’ve been on boats ever since I can remember and love to be out on the water in any way shape or form as well. Growing up in Maine I got exposed to the outdoors quite a lot and love to hike, swim, climb, ski, or anything else outside. I play guitar as well and will always jam or find new music. I’m pretty laid back, easy going and always wanting to meet new people and find a good vibe 🤙🏼

I listen to just about every genre of music but recently I’ve really been enjoying some alternative stuff and my 70s yacht rock (think Hall and Oates, the Doobie Brothers, etc…). Some of my favorite movies are Pulp Fiction, Inception, Good Will Hunting, and Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs. Oh and Pineapple Express. Obviously. My favorite books are sci-fi and I really like the Martian by Andy Weir and The Windup Girl by Paolo Bacigalupi.

I worked for 5 months on a 120ft wooden sailboat off the coast of Maine as a deckhand. One of the best experiences and jobs I’ve ever had.

I’ve got tons of boating experience and love to get people on the water. I can paint, sand, do basic engineering and electrical work, and could teach you CPR. Always keen to learn new skills and pick things up quick.
